Mobile Push Notifications Editor

The mobile push notifications editor allows you to visually design the content of mobile push notifications that will be sent to your customers from your account, through workflows created for this purpose.

This editor will appear in your Store once you have completed the integration of Connectif with your mobile app via Mobile SDK.

How to access?

You can access the mobile push notifications editor through two paths:

1. From “Content > Mobile push notifications”. Click on  Create new mobile push notification to generate a new mobile push notification, or click on More   and select Edit to modify an existing notification.

Interface

The mobile push notifications editor consists of 3 blocks:

1. Save and delete: to save or discard the changes made.

2. Design preview: to see in real-time the result of the content that will be displayed.

3. Tools: to configure all the properties of the notification and add its content and actions. This panel can be expanded or collapsed by clicking  (Open tools) or  (Close tools).

How it works

The mobile push notifications editor is based on a visual builder that allows you to create notifications quickly and easily, showing changes in real-time.

1. Add content to the mobile push notification

In the Tools (3) panel, click on the Content tab to add the content of your notification, which will show real-time changes in the design preview panel (2).

The elements it contains are:

  • Notification title: text that will appear at the top of the message.

  • Notification message: the main body of the notification text.

  • On notification click: the link to which the notification will redirect. You can select Open App to direct the contact to the app's home screen or Open URL (as in the image below) and configure a specific Push link.

2. Add variables to the mobile push notification

Mobile push notifications allow you to add variables in any of the push elements to personalize them.

To do so, click on {} (Define a dynamic variable) where you want to include the variable.

Assign a name to the variable to distinguish it and a default value to define what you want it to display when no data is stored in the corresponding field.

3. Add extra actions

Add alternative actions to the main one in your mobile push notification. To do this, in the Tools (3) panel, go to the Actions tab and click   Add action.

You can add a title to your action and choose between the Open App or Open URL options.
