Help customers still in the search phase of the purchasing process by engaging them with a mobile push notification for remarketing, based on the products they've visited. This will help increase traffic to your app and improve conversion chances.
In this article, you will learn how to create a remarketing mobile push notification.
How it works
To send a remarketing push with the last visited product, we'll configure a mobile push in the workflow that sends a recommended product based on the last product the customer visited.
Workflow Configuration
STEP 1. "Start" Node
(In this node, you will define the audience for the action).
1. Click (Edit node configuration) on the "Start" node.
2. Under Select a restriction, choose "All my list" and select "All my list".
3. Under Select the data source, choose "All existing and new".
4. Click Apply.
STEP 2. "When visiting page in mobile app" Node
(This node will detect the visit in the mobile app).
5. Click (Edit node configuration) on the "When visiting page in mobile app" node.
6. Click on Limitations and deactivate the "Deactivate after triggering" checkbox.
7. In Deactivate temporarily after event, add a limitation of “3” Days.
8. Click Apply.
STEP 3. "Wait" Node
(This node will introduce a waiting period before continuing the workflow).
9. Click (Edit node configuration) on the "Wait" node.
10. Under Define the waiting time, select "A period of time" and set "1" Day.
11. Click Apply.
STEP 4. "Has made a purchase" Node
(This node will check if the contact has made a purchase during the waiting period).
12. Click (Edit node configuration) on the "Has made a purchase" node.
13. Under The number of purchases made, select "Is greater than" and set "0" purchases.
14. In the next dropdown, select “In the last time interval” and set “1” Day.
15. Click Apply.
STEP 5. "Abandoned cart" Node
(This node will check if the contact has abandoned a cart during the waiting period).
16. For this node, link it to the previous one by clicking on the circle until "No" appears.
17. Click (Edit node configuration) on the "Abandoned cart" node.
18. Under The number of carts, select "Is greater than" and set "0" carts.
19. In the next dropdown, select “In the last time interval” and set “1” Day.
20. Click Apply.
STEP 6. "Get products" Node
(This node retrieves the last products visited by the contact).
21. For this node, link it to the previous one by clicking on the circle until "No" appears.
22. Click (Edit node configuration) on the "Get products" node.
23. To select the use cases, drag "Last visited products" to the right block. Click on Next .
24. Under Main case configuration, select "1" for Number of products to retrieve.
15. In the dropdown under Configure conditions to define a specific product set, select "In the last time interval" and add "1" Day.
25. Click Next .
26. In the Summary, find the Number of products to retrieve and set it to “1” and uncheck the "Fill with products up to the selected limit" checkbox
27. Click Apply.
STEP 7. "Check value" Node
(This node will check if the product list size is greater than 0).
28. Click (Edit node configuration) on the "Check value" node.
29. Drag the "List size" field from "Get products" to the left block.
30. Then, under Operator, select "Is greater than".
31. Drag the "Literal" field to the right block and set a value of "0".
32. Click Apply.
STEP 8. "Show mobile push notification" Node
(This node will send a mobile push notification directing users to your app).
33. Click (Edit node configuration) on the "Show mobile push notification" node.
34. Select the mobile push notification you want to send and configure the variables if any.
35. In Mappings, click Apply.
