HMTL tags for events, products and contacts will instantly notify Connectif of an event in your ecommerce platform, for example when a user views a product or places an order. Connectif’s JavaScript will interpret that information and allow you to track the contact and respond to their interactions.
How to add tags for events, products and contacts
For a full integration, the HTML tags must be implemented on their corresponding pages.
1. On all pages
Add the following tags to all pages:

Add the following tags on pages where a particular event occurs:

Add the following tags on the product detail pages:
- “Contact has visited a product” tag.
- “Contact has searched for a product” tag (only in cases where the website search includes an auto-complete and redirects to the product detail page).
5. On the search results page
Add the following tags on the product detail pages:
- “Contact has made a search” tag.
- “Contact has searched for a product” tag (only on ecommerce platforms)
6. On the "Error 404: Product not found" page
Add the following tag to the “Error 404: Product not found” page:
