Activity-Consuming Events

Events communicate to Connectif what is happening in your eCommerce. The events that consume activities on the platform are those events that, when triggered and the information they generate is collected, deduct activities from the total monthly available in your account.

If you are performing a Connectif integration via modules, these events are already registered automatically, with some exceptions (indicated in the Properties section).

If you have a custom integration and want to learn how to create the different events, click here.

1. Properties

Not all events registered in Connectif consume activities, and moreover, they must be included in the integration to do so.

These events, if implemented, are the ones that consume activities in your Store. If you are doing custom integrations, you will need to implement support for each of them if you want support for each, and then they will consume activities. For module-based integrations, the search event is supported by default in Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, and VTEX Legacy, while the product-searched event is not supported by default.

Instead of counting as general activities, the following events count as email activities:

  • email-sent: email sent.
  • email-sent-alert: alert email sent.

2. How It Is Used in Connectif

Check Consumed and Remaining Activities

1. Go to "Home" to view your Dashboard.

2. Under Your plan this month, check your activity consumption.

The consumption percentage represents the proportion of activities consumed out of the total monthly allowance.
The absolute numeric values, at the bottom of the usage chart, show the total activities consumed so far this month versus the total available.

The number of contracted activities resets each monthly billing cycle.

3. Verify that the consumption forecast does not exceed the total available for the current month.

If the projection of the current average daily consumption exceeds the total contracted activities, a warning will appear showing the estimated time to reach the maximum monthly consumption.

You can upgrade your plan from "Store Settings >> Billing > Subscription".

Check Activities Consumed in Real Time

1. Go to "Home" to view your Dashboard.

2. Under Real-time Activity, view the events currently happening on your eCommerce.

Check Activities Consumed by Content

1. Go to "Home" to view your Dashboard.

2. Under How your channels are performing, review the performance of different channels through their main metrics, such as sends, open and click rates, conversion, and revenue generated.

The metrics in this section show the performance of different content types (web content, email, web push notification, mobile push notification, and SMS) over the last 30 days, compared to the previous period.

The Sends metric records the number of contents sent.
The Open Rate (OR) metric records the percentage of sent contents that were opened.
The Click-Through Rate (CTR) metric records the percentage of sent contents that were clicked.
The Click-To-Open Rate (CTOR) metric records the percentage of opened contents that were clicked.
The Conversion Rate metric records the percentage of conversions attributed to the channel.
The Revenue Generated metric records the revenue attributed to the channel.
