Home page recommender

Help your customers find the products they previously viewed to shorten buying time and increase your chances of making a sale, through a product banner on your website’s home page.

In this article, you’ll learn how to create a recommender banner on the homepage.

Objective: Retention.
Difficulty: Beginner.
When to use it?: Anytime.

This strategy is part of our template pool. To implement it in your account, log in to your Connectif account, go to “Workflows > Create new workflow”, go to the Create from template section, type the name of the workflow (Recommender on homepage) in the search bar, click  Select and then  Create.

How it works

To display the banner, we will configure an inline web content in the workflow that appears on the page when a contact is visiting your website’s homepage. Depending on how many products they have previously viewed, different products will be shown.
