Connectif Copilot is the artificial intelligence assistant integrated into Connectif that helps you reduce the manual work required to turn your marketing goals into strategies and launch them.
Explain, in natural language, what you want to achieve, and Copilot will be able to analyze the context of your Store, propose a strategic plan, and use Connectif’s different capabilities to carry it out. From a single conversation, it can combine different tasks such as analyzing your data, creating emails, defining audiences, and developing complete strategies that are ready to activate.
You can also ask it to perform specific actions, such as creating or reviewing workflows, generating and modifying emails, creating segments, or analyzing your data. Copilot will maintain the context throughout the conversation and will be able to work directly on certain elements that you have open in Connectif.

How it works
Copilot works as a conversational assistant based on the GPT language model developed by OpenAI. Based on the context of your Store and the information it has about your ecommerce business, campaigns, contacts, and their activity, it can understand your business and help you in a personalized way.
You can ask it to perform a specific action or explain a marketing goal that you want to achieve. Copilot will determine which functionalities it needs to combine to achieve it and will propose a plan and the actions required to execute it in a single conversation. This means you will not need to handle each task separately: Copilot will combine data analysis, audience definition, email creation, and workflow creation according to your needs.
In addition, Copilot maintains the context throughout the conversation and also takes into account the Connectif area where you are working. If you are in the Email Editor or Workflow Editor, it can access the element you have open and work directly on it.
Copilot can execute tasks in the background and work on several conversations at the same time. While it completes a request, you can continue working with Copilot in other chats. From the history menu (1), you can check the status of each conversation:
- Unread: Copilot has completed an action or has a response that you have not viewed.
- Waiting for user action: Copilot needs you to perform a specific action to continue the task.
- In progress: Copilot is working on the request.
- Read: you have read Copilot’s latest response.
- Error: an error occurred during execution.
1. Conversations with Copilot
1.1. Starting a new conversation
If you already have a conversation open with Copilot and want to start a new one, open the history menu (1) and click New chat.
In the conversation box (3), enter your message to tell Copilot what you need, what your goal is, or what you want to achieve. You can make your request directly or use one of the quick access options (4) as a starting point.
The more relevant context you provide to the assistant, the more information it will have to work with on your request and generate better results.
You can give it anything from a specific action to a broader goal. For example:
- Analyze the performance of my campaigns over the last 90 days, identify which ones are achieving the best results, and tell me what opportunities for improvement you find.
- Create a segment of repeat customers who have not purchased for more than 30 days so I can launch a reactivation strategy.
- Create a workflow to recover abandoned carts with two communications. Send the first email one hour after abandonment and, if the contact has still not purchased, send a reminder 24 hours later.
Copilot will interpret your request and use the capabilities necessary to help you. Based on the first result, you can continue the conversation to explore its proposals in greater depth, request changes, or perform specific actions.
1.2. Retrieving previous conversations
From the history menu (1), select one of the previous chats to resume a conversation.
When you reopen a chat, you can continue from that same request while retaining its context and continue working on the previous actions and elements.
For example, if you asked it to create an email in a chat, you can continue by requesting changes to that content:
- Adapt this email to convey more urgency during the last 24 hours of the campaign. Strengthen the main message and create a more persuasive CTA.
- Keep the current design, but adapt the content for repeat customers. Highlight their early access and reinforce the sense of exclusivity.
- Reorganize the email to give more prominence to the month’s best-selling products, add a specific section for them, and change the main button color to “#FF23B4”.
2. Suggestions based on the Connectif area
When you open Copilot from certain areas of Connectif, the assistant takes the context of that area into account to proactively show you what you can do from there. These suggestions will help you discover what you can do.
You can select one as a starting point and continue the conversation to adapt the proposal to your needs. For example:
- When you open Copilot from the Workflows area, it will show workflow ideas that you can create based on the context of your Store.
When you open Copilot from the My emails area, it will suggest ideas for emails that it can create and design for your campaigns.
From the Segments area, it will show audience suggestions that you can create to filter and organize your contacts according to specific characteristics.
3. Campaign planning and development
In the conversation box (3), tell Copilot what your goal is. The assistant will analyze the available data in your Store related to your request to determine what actions it needs to perform and prepare a plan to develop the strategy.
This plan can combine different Connectif capabilities, such as data analysis, audience definition, email creation, and automation through workflows.
3.1. Example of a complete strategy with Copilot
In the following example, Copilot is asked to analyze customers’ purchasing behavior between January and September, identify contacts with the greatest potential to purchase again, and prepare a strategy to increase repeat purchases.
In the conversation box (3), tell Copilot:
“Analyze my customers’ purchasing behavior between January and September, identify those with the greatest potential to purchase again, and propose a strategy to increase repeat purchases.”
Copilot will display the plan and actions it proposes to achieve the goal, as well as the elements it will need to create to develop the strategy.
Review the proposal and decide how to continue. Click Approve and create to approve the plan and begin executing it, or Request changes to request modifications before continuing.
Once you approve the plan, Copilot will progressively execute the proposed actions.
When an action requires your intervention, Copilot will tell you what to do before continuing with the next one. Therefore, if the assistant creates a new element, such as an email or segment, you must review and save it before you can proceed with the strategy’s next actions.
Next, Copilot creates the strategy’s first email and asks you to save it so it can later be used in the workflow.
Once it has been reviewed and saved, Copilot continues with the next action in the plan and creates the strategy’s second email.
After completing the content, Copilot proceeds to create the workflow that will automate the strategy.
When finished, Copilot displays a summary of the strategy created and the elements that make it up. From the conversation, you can access the generated workflow to review it.
The workflow is created as an inactive draft so you can review its structure and configuration before activating it.
4. Creating segments
In the conversation box (3), ask Copilot to create a segment by describing the audience you want to identify. You can combine different contact characteristics and behaviors to define specific groups that you will use in your strategies.
Tell Copilot the criteria contacts must meet to be part of the segment and, if necessary, the exclusion criteria it should apply. Copilot will interpret your request and use those conditions to create the segment. For example, you can ask it:
- Create a segment of repeat customers who have made at least two purchases during the last 90 days but have not purchased for more than 30 days.
- Create a segment of contacts who abandoned a cart during the last 30 days and exclude those who made a purchase during that period.
- Create a segment of customers who have purchased during the last 90 days and whose total purchase value is greater than €300, but who have not purchased during the last 60 days.
5. Creating and optimizing workflows
5.1. Creating a workflow
In the conversation box (3), ask Copilot to create a workflow by describing the strategy’s goal and how you want it to work. You can specify the audience, the communications you want to send, the wait times, and the conditions it should consider throughout the contacts’ journey.
The more context you provide about the strategy, the more information Copilot will have to create and configure the workflow’s necessary elements. For example:
- Create a workflow to run an A/B test with two different email subject lines and determine which one achieves better results.
- Create a workflow to recover abandoned carts. Send a first email one hour after abandonment and, if the contact has not purchased, send a second email 24 hours later. Contacts who complete the purchase must leave the strategy.
- Create a workflow to check which channel works best with my contacts by running an A/B test between email and web push notification.
5.2. Reviewing and optimizing a workflow
From the Workflow Editor, Copilot can work directly on the workflow you have open. Describe the changes you want to make to adapt or expand the strategy, or ask it to review its configuration to identify potential problems. For example:
- Modify this workflow so that customers who purchase during the strategy leave the flow and do not receive the following communications.
- Adapt this workflow so that repeat customers follow a different path from customers who have made only one purchase.
- Review this workflow and tell me if you detect any problem or configuration that could affect how it works.
6. Creating and optimizing emails
6.1. Creating an email
In the conversation box (3), ask Copilot to create an email and tell it the communication’s goal and the features you want to include. You can provide context about the campaign, audience, products it should highlight, offer, or tone of the communication to refine the result.
- Create an email for my Black Friday campaign. Include a product block, create a sense of urgency to encourage purchases before the promotion ends, and highlight the campaign’s exclusive discount.
- Create an early-access sales email for my best customers. Include a two-column product block, communicate that they will be able to access the offers before everyone else, and include their exclusive access code.
- Create an email to win back inactive customers. Use my brand’s styles and adapt the message to encourage a new purchase with an exclusive offer.
6.2. Reviewing and optimizing an email.
From the Email Editor, within a previously created email, describe to Copilot the modifications you want to make to the email you have open. For example:
- Reorganize this email to display the product block in two columns and adapt the copy to give more prominence to the recommendations.
- Adapt this email to my brand’s styles. Keep the content and review the colors, buttons, and styles so they are consistent with the rest of the email.
- Add a new product block after the main content, adapt the section copy to give it more prominence, and maintain my brand’s styles. Place it after the main content and adapt the section copy to encourage the recipient to continue exploring products of interest.
7. Viewing and analyzing data
Use Copilot to analyze your Store’s data, understand the performance of your strategies, and identify opportunities for improvement. In the conversation box (3), tell it what you want to analyze and provide the necessary context about the goal, period, or strategy you want to study.
In addition to asking about specific data, you can ask it to interpret the data, make comparisons, and identify relevant trends or changes. Copilot will use the results to help you understand what is happening and identify opportunities that you can address in your strategies. For example, you can ask it:
- Analyze the evolution of my abandoned carts over the last three months, identify relevant changes, and tell me what opportunities I have to improve their recovery.
- Compare the performance of my campaigns over the last six months, identify which ones are achieving the best results, and tell me which strategies I should prioritize.
- Analyze the evolution of my sales from January through September, identify the periods with the greatest changes, and identify opportunities that I can work on to increase sales.
Copilot will query the available data related to your request and show you the analytics needed to answer it. In addition to the results, it can offer conclusions and context to help you interpret them. Based on the results, you can continue the conversation to explore the analysis in greater depth or explore the opportunities identified.
