Increase the number of contacts who subscribe to your newsletter by showing them a popup when they visit your site and using the double opt-in technique. With this technique, you’ll avoid adding contacts who have mistakenly provided their email address to your subscriber list, thereby improving deliverability.
In this article, you’ll learn how to create a newsletter subscription popup with the double opt-in technique.
How it works
To create this strategy, we’ll configure a popup with the subscription form in the workflow, along with a daily limitation. In this way, once it has been displayed, it won’t appear again on the next pages visited.
After submitting the form, another popup will be displayed indicating that the form has been sent correctly, and a first subscription confirmation email will be sent.
Finally, when the contact confirms the subscription, a welcome email will be sent. On the website, a final popup will also appear to welcome contacts to the newsletter.
