SMS complements the other available channels to expand the number of touchpoints for the customer, increasing visits to the website and the probability that they make a purchase.
In this article you’ll learn how to create a bulk SMS campaign.
How it works
To send an SMS campaign, we will configure a workflow with an SMS that will only be sent to contacts who are subscribed to updates through this channel.
Workflow configuration
STEP 1. "Start" node
(This node will set the target audience for the action).
1. Click (Edit node settings) for the “Start” node.
2. Under Select limitation, check “All my list” and select “Contacts with mobile phone.”
3. Under Select data source, check “All existing”.
4. Click Update.
STEP 2. “Check value” node
(This node will identify if the contact is subscribed to SMS).
5. Click (Edit node settings) of the “Check value” node.
6. Drag the “SMS subscription status” field from “Contact” to the block on the left.
7. Under Operator, select "Is selected”.
8. Drag the "Literal" value to the block on the right and select "Subscribed".
9. Click Update.
STEP 3. “Send SMS” node
(The campaign SMS will be sent in this node).
10. Click (Edit node settings) in the “Send SMS” node.
11. In Settings, select the SMS you want to send and click Next .
12. In the Send to section, select "Contact".
13. Indicate the "Newsletter" type of email.
14. Configure the Sending parameters section.
15. Under Limitations, check the “Limit per contact” box and set a value of “1”. Click Next .
16. In the Variables step, link any variables there may be.
17. Click Complete .
