Introducing the Connectif API

The integration via API allows you to synchronize Connectif with purchase data, products, contacts and more, generated on any of your external platforms: website, offline points of sale, ERP, Data Mart, etc.

It’s designed for ecommerce businesses that need greater control over updating their catalog, contact data or other exports, as well as to record purchases that may not be detected by web tracking.

  

To make use of the API integration, you'll need an expert with programming knowledge.

 

How to use the Connectif API

All applicable API calls are available in the Connectif API documentation.
Below we break down the appropriate calls for each purpose.

 

1. Manage contacts

 

Synchronize valuable information about your contacts generated on your website or on an external platform on a regular basis. Request information about specific contacts or delete their profiles.

3. Manage purchases

Synchronize purchases and collect those that were not detected via website tracking on the platform.

 

Keep in mind that purchases collected via the API have no web context, so they generate a purchase event that can be reacted to by segmenting the contact or sending an email, but it is not possible to influence the buyer's browsing by using strategies that include web content.

With the Offline purchases mode of the Shopify module, you can synchronize purchases with the platform through its own API without the need for additional configuration.

 

4. Manage coupons

API limitations

API calls are globally limited to 100 requests per minute and account.
