The workflow templates directory is a very useful resource for quickly creating different workflows by using the examples available. Here you’ll find grouped workflow models that you can use as a basis for your strategies.
How to access it
You can access the workflow templates directory from Workflows, by clicking Create new workflow.
Interface
The workflow template directory interface is found in the Create from template section and is made up of five blocks:
1. List of templates: to browse the workflow templates. By default, it shows all the existing templates and, when using the filters, the resulting selection.
2. Template Information: to check the details of each template, including a thumbnail of the workflow, data related to the default filters, level of difficulty, information button that leads to the article that explains the configuration of that workflow (if it exists) and the template selector.
3. Filter: to filter the search based on the pre-established criteria.
4. Search: to search for an existing template by terms related to its name or description.
5. Template wizard: to find a template with the help of the questions in the wizard.
How it works
By default, the workflow templates directory shows all the templates available for use. Browse its interface or use one of the search features to find the right strategy.
1. Search template using selectable filters
In the filter area (3), select those that fit the objectives and needs of your strategy to narrow down the sample of templates:
- Objective: to filter workflows according to the strategic marketing goal for which they’re designed (acquisition, conversion, retention, loyalty and reactivation).
- Channel: to filter workflows according to the channels used (email, inline, popup, push notification, etc.).
- Pack: to filter workflow packs that are part of a joint strategy.
- Level: to filter the workflows according to the level of complexity.
- Label: to filter workflows according to their theme or other relevant data.
When one or more filters are selected, the search block (4) shows the number of workflows that meet the characteristics and the list of templates (1) shows the resulting set.
Click CLEAR FILTERS to undo the current selection.
2. Search template by name or description
In the search block (4), write the terms related to the workflow that you want to find.
In the list of templates (1), you can see the result of templates that are related to the search by name or description.
Click CLEAR FILTERS to undo the current selection.
3. Find template via template wizard
In the template wizard (5), at each step select the criteria that the workflow you’re looking for must meet.
- Objective: to filter workflows according to the strategic marketing goal for which they’re designed (acquisition, conversion, retention, loyalty and reactivation).
- Channel: to filter workflows according to the channels used (email, inline, popup, push notification, etc.).
- Level: to filter the workflows according to the level of complexity.
Once the steps are completed, the wizard will display the number of workflows that meet these characteristics. Click See templates to show the results of the selection in the list of templates (1).
4. Create a workflow from a template
In the template information (2), click Select to display the thumbnail of the workflow to be activated and created.
Click Create to open the editor, where you can modify, activate, and save the workflow, like the rest of the workflows.
