Functionality

Trigger-type nodes activate in real time when they detect that the contact performs an activity on the eCommerce. The "On Web Content Click" node detects clicks on the web content created in Connectif or on links in your eCommerce that include aliases, allowing you to personalize the strategy's reaction based on the contact's interaction with the content.

The "On Web Content Click" node configuration offers the use of 3 types of filters that allow the node's behavior to be adapted to any scenario:

— When clicking on any link of a content type.

— When clicking on a specific link of a content.

— When clicking on a manually specified link.

1. When clicking on any link of a content type

In the Configuration of the "On Web Content Click" node, select as filter (2) "When clicking on any link of a content type".

In the filter configuration options (3), select the type or types of content in which you want to detect when contacts click.

In the "On Web Content Click" nodes, by default, this filter is applied with all content types selected. If you click on any content, it will be deselected.

In our example, the "On Web Content Click" node is configured to detect clicks on any link of all inline content types.

2. When clicking on a specific link of a content

In the Configuration of the "On Web Content Click" node, select as filter (2) "When clicking on a specific link of a content".

In the filter configuration options (3), select the specific content in which you want to detect when contacts click. You can use the filters at the top of the configuration options to help you locate specific content.

If the content has several links, select which ones should trigger the node.

3. When clicking on a manually specified link

In the Configuration of the "On Web Content Click" node, select as filter (2) "When clicking on a manually specified link".

In the filter configuration options (3), you have two different options to define the link or links you want to detect when contacts click.

  • Link URL

In the filter configuration options (3), click on Link URL and add the URL you want to detect when contacts click. If you want to detect more than one link, click on   Add another link for each additional URL.

In our example, the "On Web Content Click" node is configured to detect, in any type of web content, when contacts click on the specified link.
