Help customers who are still in the search phase of the purchasing process by engaging them with a web push remarketing notification based on the products they have visited. This will boost both website traffic and conversion opportunities.
In this article, you will learn how to create a remarketing push notification.
How It Works
To send a remarketing push notification with the last visited product, we will configure a web push in the workflow that sends a product related to the most recently visited one.
Workflow Configuration
STEP 1. Nodo "Inicio"
(This node will define the audience targeted by the action.)
1. Click the (Edit node settings) on the “Inicio” node.
2. Under Select a restriction, check “All my list” and choose “Contacts with email”.
3. Under Select data source, check “All existing and new”.
4. Click the Update.
STEP 2. Nodo "Product viewed"
(This node detects when a product has been viewed.)
5. Click the (Edit node settings) on the “Product viewed” node.
6. Go to Limitations and uncheck “Disable after triggered”.
7. In the Temporarily disable after event section, add a limit of “3 Days”.
8. Click the Update.
STEP 3. Nodo "Wait"
(This node introduces a delay before proceeding in the workflow.)
9. Click the (Edit node settings) on the “Wait” node.
10. Under Define waiting time, select “A period of time” and set it to “1 Day”.
11. Click the Update.
STEP 4. Nodo “Has made purchase”
(This node checks if the contact has made a purchase during the waiting time.)
12. Click the (Edit node settings) on the “Has made purchase” node.
13. Under Number of purchases made, select “Is greater than” and set it to “0” purchases.
14. In the following dropdown, select “In the last time interval” and set “1” Day.
15. Click the Update.
STEP 5. Node “Has visited website”
(This node checks if the contact has visited the website in the last 10 minutes.)
16. On the connection between this node and the previous one, click the circle until “No” appears.
17. Click the (Edit node settings) on the “Has visited website” node.
18. Under Number of times a URL has been visited, select “Any page”, then “Is greater than” and set it to "0" visits.
19. In the following dropdown, select “In the last time interval” and set “10” Minutes.
20. Click the Update.
STEP 6. First “Get products” node
(In this node, the contact’s last visited products will be retrieved.)
21. On the connection between this node and the previous one, click the circle until “No” appears.
22. Click the (Edit node settings) on the “Get products” node.
23. To select the use cases, drag “Last visited products” to the block on the right. Click Next .
24. In Main case configuration, select “1” for Number of products to retrieve.
25. Under Select visit time frame, choose “In the last time interval” and in the “Days” field, enter “7”.
26. Click Next .
27. In the Summary section, locate Number of products to retrieve and set “1”. Then, uncheck “Fill products up to selected limit”.
28. Click Finish .
STEP 7. Second “Get products” node
(In this node, products recommended based on the contact’s last visited products will be retrieved.)
29. Click the (Edit node settings) on the “Get products” node.
30. To select the use cases, drag “Automatically related to a product list” to the right block and “Most visited products” to the additional use case. Click Next .
31. In Main case configuration, select “1” for Number of products to retrieve.
32. Under Select related products, choose “Get last visited products”.
33. In Configure product selection order, select “Sort by descending rating”.
34. Enable the checkbox “Randomly reorder retrieved products”.
35. Click Next .
36. In Additional case configuration, select “1” for Number of products to retrieve.
37. Under Select visit time frame, choose “Most visited in the last month” and enable “Randomly reorder retrieved products”.
38. In Summary, select "1" for Number of products to retrieve and enable “Exclude products output by previous nodes”.
39. Click Finish .
STEP 8. Node “Show push”
(This node sends the push notification.)
40. Click the (Edit node settings) on the “Show push” node.
41. Select the web push you want to send and under Select an expiration date for the push notification, choose “Interval of time since node execution” and set “3” Days. Click Next .
42. Under Mappings, click Finish .
