Quickly create and activate a Web Push Notification send with Connectif using a Workflows Express, without needing to go into the Workflow Editor.
In this article, you will learn how to design and send a web push notification to your contacts quickly and easily through the Workflows Express functionality.
STEP 1: Create the express workflow
1. Go to Workflows and click on Create workflow.
2. Select the option Create workflow express, choose the Web Push channel, and click Go to editor.
STEP 2: Indicating the Workflow Details
3. Click on the Workflow Details dropdown to define the information with which you will identify this workflow in your Store.
4. Assign a Name to your workflow to identify it. If desired, you can also add a Description and/or assign Tags to differentiate it.
5. Click Save to save your workflow in your Connectif Store.
STEP 3: Selecting the Recipient
7. Click on the Recipient dropdown to define Who will receive the campaign. In this case, select the Segment of contacts that will receive this Web Push notification.
STEP 4: Designing the Content
11. Click on the Content dropdown to add the web push notification that will be sent through this workflow. To do so, click on the Add Content button.
12. You can then create a new notification by clicking on New web push notification, or select one that already exists in your Store by using the area Your web push notifications. Whether you create a new notification or select an existing one, you will access the Web Push Notification Editor to design (or review) your content.
13. Inside the Web Push Notification Editor, design its content to match your campaign. If you need more information about creating web push notifications with Connectif, check out our documentation on the Web Push Notification Editor.
14. Once all the changes to your notification design are made, click on Save and Exit.
15. (Optional). If you have added variables to your notification, you will need to configure them in the Custom Variables area. To do so, click on Configure.
19. In the popup window, you will see as many rows as there are variables you have created.
- For each of them, click on the Select a field dropdown and choose from which contact field in Connectif the variable should take its value.
20. Click on Save configuration.
STEP 5: Review of send and/or errors
23. Review, on the right sidebar, the progress of the configuration of your Workflow Express, as well as any errors that may affect its activation. Once you have completed all the steps, the interface will show a confirmation message indicating that your campaign is ready to be sent.
24. In that same block, you will be able to review the number of Contacts impacted with web push, the volume of contacts from the selected Segment, and the Estimated reach.
25. Finally, you will be able to review the preview of the notification you are going to send.
STEP 6: Send the Web Push Express Workflow
26. Once all the previous sections are configured, any errors are fixed, and the final preview of your web push notification is reviewed, you can activate the send by clicking Send or schedule.
27. Choose between Send now, to automatically trigger the send of your notification, or Schedule, to determine a specific date and time for when the send will be triggered.
28. Depending on the option selected, click on Send now or Schedule send to confirm this setting and activate your workflow (or schedule its activation).
