Copilot Analytics

Copilot Analytics is Connectif’s smart analytics assistant that allows you to interact with your Connectif Store data using natural language. You can ask it questions directly, and the assistant will return instant results, visual charts, and interpretations of the data, as well as suggestions tailored to your business.

This article explains how Copilot Analytics works and how to leverage this assistant feature to gain useful analytics for your eCommerce, which you can use to optimize your reporting and campaign tracking.

1. Features

  • Copilot Analytics allows you to interact with the data available in your Connectif Store using natural language. Users can ask the assistant directly (e.g., “What was the conversion rate this month?”), and the system returns instant results.
  • The assistant works by running queries against Data Explorer to get accurate responses and business data.
  • It works with up-to-date data from the Store (campaigns, workflows, segments, etc.), providing actionable insights in real time.
  • The generated responses include automatic visualizations in the form of interactive graphs, with no need for complex configuration.
  • In addition to returning the requested metrics, Copilot Analytics is proactive in providing explanations and recommendations, making it easier to interpret results and make decisions.
  • It also guides the analysis by suggesting new exploration paths and next steps to dig deeper into the results.
  • Responses can be copied directly for use in reports, presentations, and documentation. Graphs can also be copied separately (in PNG format).

The assistant’s responses may vary, even when making the same query, depending on how Copilot interprets the extracted data.

2. How to use it in Connectif

Access Copilot Analytics from the left-hand menu by clicking on Copilot and selecting Talk about my data.

In this menu, you can use the assistant through the initial suggestions shown in its interface or type your custom query in the "Ask Copilot" area.

You can ask Copilot Analytics to extract metrics, perform analyses, make predictions, etc., from any insight collected in your Store, to get data and recommendations tailored to you, thanks to artificial intelligence. Below are some examples of what you can do with the assistant.

2.1. Generating performance reports

1. In the Copilot Analytics main interface, click on Generate performance report. Copilot will analyze the available data in your Connectif Store and provide a guided report, with an overview of key metrics.

3. Leverage its actionable recommendations, based on the obtained metrics, to optimize your results.

4. Make suggestions, additional requests, or corrections via the chat, or use the predefined options offered by the assistant to expand on the information.

2.2. Tracking eCommerce metrics

1. In the Copilot Analytics main interface, use any of the available predefined options or type your request directly into the chat to ask Copilot to track the metrics you want to review.

In our example, we asked for a sales tracking breakdown by channel for the last month.

2. Review the results generated by Copilot to track the requested KPI and/or copy the report provided.

3. Take advantage of the actionable recommendations generated based on the obtained metrics to optimize your results.

4. Make suggestions, additional requests, or corrections through the chat, or use the predefined options suggested by the assistant to expand on the information.

2.3. Campaign analysis

1. In the main Copilot Analytics interface, use one of the available predefined options or type your request directly into the chat to ask Copilot for a specific analysis of your campaigns.

In our example, we asked it to analyze which campaign generated the most sales.

2. Review the results generated by Copilot to get key insights into the performance of the campaign(s) to be analyzed.

In our example, it identified which campaign had the most sales and provided an explanation of that performance.

3. Use its recommendations, generated based on the obtained metrics, to optimize your results.

4. Make suggestions, additional requests, or corrections through the chat, or use the assistant’s predefined options to explore more information.

2.4. Identifying purchase trends

1. In the main Copilot Analytics interface, use one of the available predefined options or type your request directly into the chat to ask Copilot for a specific analysis of your campaigns.

In our example, we asked it to identify which day of the week has the most purchases on our eCommerce store.

2. Review the results generated by Copilot to get key insights into the requested trends.

In our example, it identified that the day with the most purchases is Wednesday, and also found that Friday and Thursday are close behind. It also provided data for the analyzed period, including an interactive table for day-by-day purchase data review.

3. Make suggestions, additional requests, or corrections through the chat, or use the assistant’s predefined options to explore more information.
