Workflow Template List

The workflow template list is a very useful resource for quickly creating different workflows from the available examples. It contains grouped workflow templates that you can use as a basis for your strategies.

How to access it

You can access the workflow template list from Workflows by clicking Create new wofklow.

Interface

The interface of the workflow template list is located in the Create from template section and consists of 5 blocks:

1. Search: to search for an existing template using terms related to its name or description.

2. Filter: to narrow down the search based on preset criteria.

3. Template list and template information: to browse the workflow templates. By default, it displays all existing templates and, when filters are used, the resulting selection. You can check the details of each template, including a thumbnail of the workflow, information related to the default filters, difficulty level, an information button that directs to the article explaining the configuration of that workflow (if one exists), and the template selector.

How it works

The workflow template list displays, by default, all templates available for use. Browse its interface or use one of the search features to find the right strategy.

1. Search for a template using the selectable filters

In the filter area (2), select those that fit the objectives and needs of your strategy to narrow down the template results:

  • Objective: to filter workflows according to the purpose of the marketing strategy they are designed for (acquisition, conversion, retention, loyalty, and reactivation).
  • Channel: to filter workflows according to the channels used (email, inline, popup, push notification, etc.).
  • Pack: to filter workflow packs that make up a joint strategy.
  • Level: to filter workflows according to their level of complexity.
  • Tag: to filter workflows according to their subject matter or other relevant information.

When one or more filters are selected, the number of workflows that meet the criteria appears above the search block (1), and the resulting set is displayed in the template list (3).

You can combine the manual search with the use of filters to narrow down the results.

3. Create a worfklow from a template

In the template information (3), click  Select to display the thumbnail of the workflow that will be activated and create it.

For some workflows, the More Info button is available. It directs to the Knowledge Base article explaining how to configure that workflow and create it from scratch.

Click the template you want to use and then Create workflow to open the editor, where you can modify, activate, and save the workflow like any other workflow.
