Push subscription via browser notification

Make the most of your website traffic to increase contacts subscribed to web push notifications through the browser alert.

In this article, you’ll learn how to create a push acquisition strategy using the browser notification.

Objective: Acquisition.
Difficulty: Beginner.
When to use it: In acquisition campaigns.

This strategy is part of our template pool. To implement it in your account, log into your Connectif account, go to “Workflows > Create new workflow”, go to the Create from template section, type in the workflow name (Push subscription using browser notification), click  Select and then  Create.

How it works

To create this strategy, we’ll configure an inline with the browser alert. This content will have a daily limitation so that once shown, it won’t appear on subsequent pages visited until the next day.

Once the request is accepted by the contact, they will receive a welcome web push notification.
