Increase the number of contacts subscribed to your newsletter by taking advantage of page visits, via a web form integrated with Connectif.
In this article, you'll learn how to create acquisition strategy for integrated web forms.
How it works
To create this strategy, we will configure a node to detect the submission of an integrated subscription form on the websitewe.
After submitting the form, users will be shown a confirmation popup and a welcome email will be sent to them.
Workflow configuration
STEP 1. "Start" node
(This node will set the target audience for the action).
1. Click (Edit node settings) for the “Start” node.
2. Under Select limitation, check "All my list".
3. Under Select data source, check “All existing and new”.
4. Click Update.
STEP 2. “On form submission” node
(This node will detect the exact moment the integrated form is submitted).
5. Click (Edit node settings) in the “On form submission” node.
6. Click on A specific form.
7. Next, select the form you want the workflow to react to. In this case, the form shown in the inline content.
8. Click Limitations and uncheck the "Deactivate after triggering" box.
9. In Temporarily disable after event, add a limitation of “1” Day.
10. Click Update.
STEP 3. “Set field” node
(This node will record the information obtained from the form in the contact's profile).
11. Click (Edit node settings) for the “Set field” node.
12. Drag the "Name" field from "On form submission" to the block on the left, so that it matches the custom field “Name” (which appears in the block on the right).
13. Under Operator, select "Assign".
14. Click Update.
STEP 4. Nodo Enviar contenido web
(This node will send a popup to confirm the contact's submission of the integrated form).
15. Click (Edit node settings) in the “Send web content” node.
16. Select the corresponding Popup content and click Next .
17. In the Variables step, link any variables there may be.
18. Click Complete .
STEP 5. “Send email” node
(This node will send the email with the welcome to the newsletter message).
19. Click (Edit node settings) in the “Send email” node.
20. Under Limitations, uncheck the "Limit per contact" box.
21. In Settings, select the email you want to send and click Next .
22. In the Send to section, select "Contact".
23. Indicate the "Newsletter" type of email.
24. Configure the parameters section of "Send to contact".
25. Under Google Analytics, click "Enable Google Analytics" then Next .
26. Click Complete .
