Post-purchase satisfaction survey

Get feedback from your customers by sending them a satisfaction survey after they make a purchase. With the information you obtain, you’ll be able to optimize your eCommerce and its sales process.

In this article you’ll learn how to create a post-purchase satisfaction survey.

Difficulty: Beginner.
When to use it: After any sale of products. 

  

This strategy is part of our pool of templates. To implement it in your account, access your Connectif account and go to “Workflows Create new workflow”. In the Create from template section, enter the name of the workflow in the search engine (Post-purchase satisfaction survey) then click Select and Create.

 

How it works

To create this strategy, we’ll configure a slide-in in the workflow with the satisfaction survey. This will be sent after a purchase is detected and is deactivated if the contact submits the completed survey.

Workflow configuration

  

Before configuring your workflow, create the following elements:
— A slide in, to show the satisfaction survey.

STEP 1. "Start" node

(This node will set the target audience for the action).

1. Click (Edit node settings) for the “Start” node.

2. Under Select limitation, check "All my list".

3. Under Select data source, check “All existing and new”.

4. Click Update.

STEP 2. “On purchase” node

(Contacts that make a purchase will be detected in this node).

5. Click (Edit node settings) in the “On purchase” node.

6. Click Limitations and uncheck the "Deactivate after triggering" box.

7. In Temporarily disable after event, add a limitation of “7Days.

8. Click Update.

STEP 3. “Send web content: slide in” node

(This node will send a slide in with the satisfaction survey).

9. Click (Edit node settings) in the “Send web content” node.

10. Select the corresponding Slide-in and click Next .

11. In the Variables step, link any variables there may be.

12. Click Complete .

STEP 4. “On form submission” node

(This node will detect the moment when the form is sent).

13. Click (Edit node settings) in the “On form submission” node.

14. Click on A specific form.

15. Next, select the form you want the workflow to react to. In this case, the form displayed in the slide in.

16. Click Limitations and uncheck the "Deactivate after triggering" box.

17. In the Add external limitation section, choose “On purchase” from the dropdown and, in the next one, “Deactivate”.

18. Click Update.
